There are a number of books you will need for your driving lessons.
'The Highway Code' - This contains much of the information you need for the Theory Test and to help you with your practical lessons. |
'Learning to Drive' - This is published by the Driving Standards Agency and sets out the syllabus for 'learning to drive. It tells you what the examiner looks for, what skills you should show and faults to avoid. It doesn't show you how to drive - that's my job. |
'Driving - The Essential Skills' - This is a comprehensive instruction book covering just about everything you need to know to drive to DSA standards - which is part of the plan. |
'Know Your Traffic Signs' - All the signs you ought to know and will come across |

'Bullets' - This is my own booklet containing lots of information to teach you to drive. Set out in an easily read form, it contains a lot of my experience and relates very closely to the lessons I give. I would go as far as to say that if you knew and could put its contents into practice, you would be well prepared for the driving test and beyond. If you are reading this and live nowhere near but would like a copy, please E-Mail me and I can arrange to send you one. There are many other books in shops that will help but some of them require a lot of reading. This is designed to give you the information you need in an easily read format! |
